The Board of Directors decided to cancel our 2021 juggling festival at the Yaarab Shrine Center because of the pandemic.
Our extended juggling family was invited to send remote "love letters".
See these video "love letters" along with a timelapse video of the 40th Annual Groundhog Day Juggler's Festival from 2018.
We meet outside on the lawn in front of the building on Thursdays from 6-8pm starting on March 18, 2021 (only one day per week for now). If it's raining we are in the large room through the double doors just off the parking lot or in our room on the third floor.
Winners of the coveted PHIL award this year were Andrew Kaefer, Scott Raison and LilyRuth Mamary, and Nash Abrahams. Congratulations! A special PHIL trophy was awarded this year to Richard Kennison for coaching 21 PHIL winners over the years from 1995-2020.
We were featured on the Channel 11 TV show Atlanta & Company on June 14, 2019 at 11 am. DrewBob Ford, Brandon Ross, Shivella Schwab, Patrick Russell, Joshua and Caleb Black juggled balls and clubs, and unicycled. Meredith Gordon added his hat manipulation skills. Afterwards they talked about our World Juggling Day event on Saturday and our annual festival in February. See the video clip.
We celebrated World Juggling Day on Saturday, June 15, 2019 from 6-8 PM in Atlanta on the BeltLine greenspace at Ponce de Leon Ave on the east side of Ponce City Market. Over 30 jugglers from Atlanta and surrounding area including a juggler from Augusta, GA came to teach juggling and juggle together. Over 50 people stopped by to learn to juggle balls and clubs. We even taught an Atlant police officer to juggle clubs! Afterwards we walked to EATS across the street to eat dinner together. See photos.
