We meet outside on the lawn in front of the building on Thursdays at about 6pm until about 8:30pm. During winter months or if it's raining or windy we are in our room on the third floor. Sometimes we meet in our room, on the lawn or in a park on a Sunday afternoon. Check here or our Facebook page for latest info.
We meet every Thursday night at the Little Five Points Community Center at 1083 Austin Avenue in Atlanta. It's on the corner of Austin and Euclid Avenues, just south of Little Five Points. Go to Google maps or get directions on getting here by MARTA (Atlanta's subway system). Our red and yellow sign is visible on the top of the building just above the parking lot.
We typically start around 6 pm and finish about 8:30 pm. In summer we are outside on the lawn in front of the building. In winter or when it's raining we are in our room on the third floor (the room nearest the back stairwell). There is an elevator for our building just inside the entrance off the back parking lot off Euclid Ave. There is handicapped parking and everything is wheelchair accessible with no steps. Go to the third floor and look and listen for people throwing or bouncing objects.
Meetings are free of charge and open to anyone. There's usually someone around willing to teach you the basics. Bring water because there are no drinking water fountains in the building.
After juggling meetings we go eat together at a local restaurant. Thursdays we go to Fox Bros BBQ or Manuel's Tavern in Little Five Points.
